Prepare for the Appointment

Arrive at least 10-15 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork and to help your child become familiar with the studio environment. This can help ease any initial nervousness.

Bring Required Identification

If your child is a minor, ensure that you bring valid identification, you MUST be the parent or minor. This is necessary for the appointment and to comply with legal requirements.

Preparation and Consultation

Before the piercing, we conduct a thorough consultation to address any questions or concerns you may have. We ensure that you and your child are fully informed and comfortable with the process. Our staff is trained to handle pediatric piercings with the utmost care and professionalism.

Needle-Only Technique

We use only high-quality, single-use needles for all piercings. Unlike piercing guns, which can cause trauma to the tissue, our needle-only technique provides a clean, precise, and less painful piercing experience. This method is preferred for its safety and effectiveness, especially for young children.

Tandem Piercing

To minimize discomfort and ensure a quick process, we offer tandem piercing services. This means that both ears (or multiple piercings) can be done simultaneously by our experienced piercers. This approach helps to reduce the overall time spent and helps your child feel more at ease.

Certificate of Completion

Every child who gets pierced at Bella Piercing receives a special certificate to commemorate their bravery. The certificate is beautifully designed and includes details of their piercing experience, making it a memorable keepsake for both you and your child.

Safe and Sanitary Environment

Our studio adheres to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. We use sterilized equipment and follow strict hygiene protocols to ensure that every piercing is performed in a safe and sanitary environment.

Aftercare and Follow-Up

After the piercing, we provide detailed aftercare instructions to ensure proper healing. Our team is always available to answer any questions and provide guidance throughout the healing process. We also offer follow-up appointments to monitor the healing and address any concerns.

Treat and Balloon

To celebrate your child's new piercing, we provide a small treat and a balloon. This small gesture is part of our effort to make the experience as positive and enjoyable as possible.

Healthy Meal and Hydration

Ensure your child has had a nutritious meal and is well-hydrated before the appointment. This helps maintain their energy levels and can contribute to a more comfortable experience.

Medical Considerations

If your child has any medical conditions or concerns, inform us ahead of time. This includes any allergies or sensitivities that may affect the piercing process or healing.

Avoid Swimming

Refrain from allowing your child to swim or submerge their piercing in water for at least 30 days following the piercing. This is crucial for preventing infections and ensuring proper healing.

Choose a Convenient Time

Schedule the appointment at a time when your child is well-rested and calm. Avoid scheduling during times when they might be tired or hungry.

Explaining Aftercare

Ensure your child has had a nutritious meal and is well-hydrated before the appointment. This helps maintain their energy levels and can contribute to a more comfortable experience.

Recommendations

For minors aged 12 and above seeking piercings beyond ear lobes (excluding double piercings), a consultation is mandatory. This consultation ensures the minor has suitable anatomy and comprehends the aftercare and associated risks of the requested piercing. Additionally, a parent or legal guardian must be present during the consultation and understand any associated risks.
